Glenda Anne Culley AO

National Chairman UNIFEM Australia, United Nations Development Fund for Women 1999 to 2002.
Since becoming involved in the United Nations Development Fund for Women, Glenda has been National Coordinator for the International Women's Day Breakfast Program, National Vice Chairman, and National Chairman. The Breakfast Program is held throughout Australia on International Women's Day and raises money for Women's Projects in developing countries and in recent years particularly in East Timor. As National Chairman Glenda has represented UNIFEM Australia at NGO gatherings, and the World Women's Forum in New York. UNIFEM Australia has raised well over $300,000 and the Australian Government pledges over $400,000 annually to UNIFEM.
Member of Guides Australia since 1982 where she has made a difference in the areas of administration, training of adult leaders, and in the international aspect through Chairing the National Irene Fairbairn Fund. This fund enables young women from around Australia to attend World Guide Forums in overseas countries. Many of these young women have become valued members of the community and hold high positions in their field of endeavour.
